It has since grown to become a thriving city-state that is considered to be one of the significant economic centers throughout the continent.
Lloyd Bannings, who spent three years in exile from Crossbell, is returning home to fulfill the legacy left by his brother and become a part of the Crossbell Police Department. Lloyd arrives and discovers they have assigned him to Special Support Section. This is the division that takes care of minor and odd demands. His new team comprises Elie MacDowell (granddaughter of the mayor); Randy Orlando (ex-soldier who's asexual) as well as Tio Plato (young technology genius).
Though their department is mocked by the media and looked down on by the rest in the CPD, Lloyd and his team continue to strive to make their city more livable. Then they find themselves faced by the corruption taking over their city. They don't realize how far the Shadows of Crossbell City reach...
