PlatinumGames NEO-CLASSIC ARCADE series brings the spirit and enjoyment of old-fashioned gaming and modern technology. The first project is Sol Cresta. Sol Cresta takes the docking as well as formation strategy of traditional shooting game Moon Cresta and Terra Cresta and elevates them with the "free-form docking" technique. The main character, Yamato made up of the vessels Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, and Susano are able to utilize different types of attack dependent on the way in which three of the ships are placed. One of the key factors to defeating Mandler's armies of invading troops is to dock, splitting and reforming ships.
