The world is vastly different from its wars, there is an area of pure malevolent magic: The Realm of Chaos. It is a terrible space, that is unfathomable to the mortal mind. Even though it calls out to power, it can be hard to see. It is to surrender your soul to it. It's possible to transform into it.
The four Ruinous Powers have a monopoly on this region, and are always looking to break free of their bonds to drown the entire world in a tide of daemonic corruption. Nurgle is the god of plague; Slaanesh, the lord of excess Tzeentch and the changer of ways; and Khorne the god of slaughter and blood.
At the border of the worlds, two great kingdoms watch over the other: the fierce warriors of Kislev as well as the massive empire that is Grand Cathay. Each one is faced with the same challenges and they have to each pass the border to launch their forces into Chaos Realm.
The earth is poised on an edge. Just one push could plunge the world into the cataclysm.
One person has a strategy to accomplish this. A fable from the past, who wants nothing more than supreme power. But to succeed you need a champion...
