PlatinumGames"NEO-CLASSIC ARCADE series" keeps alive the spirit and fun of classic gaming through modern technologies, and the first project in this direction can be described as Sol Cresta. Sol Cresta takes the docking and formation strategies of classic shooter games Moon Cresta and Terra Cresta and enhances them using their "free-form docking" technique. The main character, Yamato made up of three ships Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, and Susano will be able to employ a range of different attacks dependent on the way in which the three ships are aligned. Separating, docking, and restructuring the ships when are required is key to defeating the armies of Mandler.
